Connections on course for HEROS Charity

Teams enjoyed a fantastic day on course at the West Berkshire Golf Club raising funds to support the retraining and rehoming of ex-racehorses

The West Berkshire Golf Club delivered the friendly and relaxed welcome it is renowned for as 13 teams played its mature, downland course and enjoyed stunning views over the Berkshire Downs and across to the Valley of the Racehorse.

Grace Muir said: “Fundraising is testing for any charity, especially when the financial climate is also challenging, so if we can help our supporters make connections through a friendly and enjoyable event such as our Golf Day while at the same time raising vital funds then we’re more than happy to make that happen. It’s been such a fun day and I can’t thank everybody involved enough. We have raised an exciting sum and we already have names signed up for #HEROSGolf 2017.”
