Somewhere in time's own space
There must be some sweet pastured place
Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow
Some paradise where horses go,
For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again.

Gone But Not Forgotten

Over the years we have been privileged to have known and loved some amazing horses who have in our minds been ‘HEROS’. The team here, their past and present owners/loanees and friends have memories and stories of all them which are always reminisced over when we meet.
You can read more stories about past HEROS by clicking here.

In Loving Memory

It’s not just the horses though that make HEROS what it is – it’s also Friends and Supporters who have helped make HEROS what it is and we are eternally grateful for them being part of our story.

A Place to Remember

With the above in our minds and almost a year passing since HEROS lost Monsignor we are taking on a enviromental project as a tribute to him and all the others who have moved on from us.  North Farm Stud and HEROS have decided to plant a Memorial Garden here in their honour. The area we have chosen is in a particularly beautiful place on the estate with far reaching views over this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
HEROS is planning to plant the area with trees and form a place for quiet reflection not only in Monsignor’s memory but in memory of all our past HEROS horses.
If you would like to make donation (in memory of your horse/or in all their memories) please click on the Donate button below to make a donation or contact the office to discuss.
Each tree will cost approximately £50 to purchase and plant and it is hoped that eventually benches and memory plaques can be added so that visitors can spend some time there.
